Maria, Marina, Maria, Marina and so it went. Back and forth fairly consistently. Can't authors get at least one other person to read their work before publishing it? Anyone else would have caught the inconsistency in this character's name right off.Other than that, it was OK. Normally a Regency character wouldn't have done such a thing in their wildest dreams, but widows did have a bit of leniency. Still, hard to swallow sex within minutes of meeting someone - Regency or modern.

I have no idea why the author even decided to write this extremely short story. It was free so I downloaded it and then was left with more questions than answers e.g. Will the author be doing a story about either of the characters in the future? What was the point of the older h hooking up with the gorgeous younger H for one sex scene? Don't be expecting too much from the sex scene either. As my kids would say WTF?
First time reading Maggi; not sure I'll try again.
It was a wonderful short story, but was nice. I love it, and would like to continue and know what will happen. Congratulations.
Story was too short and I didn't like the ending. It left me wanting for something more. I will try one more of her books.
When they said snort they meant it. She is a widow at a friends Christmas party and is a handsome gentleme.
